Little Town Tea's Poem of the Week

Let's Dress Up
By: Mary Ann Hoberman

Let’s dress up in grown-up clothes
Swishing skirts
That touch our toes;
Wispy veils
That hide our nose.
Let’s dress up today.

Feathered bonnet
Trimmed with lace;
Rouge and lipstick
On our face;
An umbrella
(Just in case).
Let’s dress up today.

Now we’re ready.
Let’s go walking
Down the street
(Pretend we’re talking).
Walking
Talking
Walking
Talking,
All dressed up today.
